[Drama Casting] “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” Finds Leading Actress

Son Ye-Jin to make drama comeback in “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”

The upcoming K-Drama, “Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food”, confirmed their leading lady in Son Ye Jin (“Personal Taste”). She will play, Yoon Jin-A, a woman who works at a coffee company, but feels like she hasn’t accomplished much in her life. There hasn’t been a confirmation for the lead male role yet, but an offer is out to Jung Hae In (“While You Were Sleeping”). If accepted, he would portray the younger brother, Seo Joon Hee, of Jin-A’s best friend. The story is of Jin-A and Joon Hee meeting again once he returns from abroad as a more mature man than what she remembers.

While the plot doesn’t seem the most original, I absolutely love these two actors. So, as long as Jung Hae In accepts the role, you can count me in for this drama. Plus, Son Ye Jin hasn’t been in a drama for many years, so it will surely be a great comeback for her.

“Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food” looks to premiere in March on JTBC.
