Friday Favorites: Week 3 of All K-Pop and Drama Favorites
Week 3’s Round-Up of All the K-Pop and K-Drama Favorites
This week’s Friday Favorites mostly consist of K-Pop releases and videos, but they’re definitely note-worthy ones (in my opinion at least LOL) to check out.
1. Younha’s New Album “RescuE”
I’m loving Younha’s new album, especially her title tracks “Parade” and “Hello” ft. pH-1. The songs “Drive” and “FEEL” ft. Chancellor are also stand-outs to me.
2. G.Soul Single Album “I’ll Be There”
G. Soul will be enlisting in the military soon and released these two songs before doing so. There are two songs on the album called “I’ll Be There” and “No Answer.” While I absolutely love both of these, my favorite is “No Answer”.
3. Eric Nam’s Live Band Single “Hold Me”
While typically not a huge ballad person, Eric Nam’s voice totally won me over on this track. He’s a super talented artist and I wish we got more singles from him!
4. New K-Drama “Great Temptation” casts leads Joy and Woo Do Hwan
“Great Temptation” will be based off of a French novel and will have Red Velvet’s Joy and Woo Do-Hwan starring as the two main leads. I did not watch Joy’s debut drama “The Liar and His Lover”, but I really like Red Velvet, so I’m excited to see her in another drama having some experience now.
I started listening to DMEANOR’s music a couple weeks ago and fell in love with the song “Fool For Loving” ft. Kwamie Liv. It’s a slow R&B song with a great beat and lyrics. I’m really enjoying his other singles as well, so I highly recommend checking his stuff out!
6. Jia and Jackson Team Up for New Single
Jia (from MissA) and Jackson (from GOT7) teamed up for their Chinese single “MOOD”. They wrote the song together and the video for it is super adorable!
7. Block B’s January Comeback “REMONTAGE”
Block B will be returning on January 8th with a repackaged album, titled “REMONTAGE.” They’ve also already released solo and group teaser photos!
8. SMTOWN’s “Dear My Family”
So, I had to save this one for last. SMTOWN released the live performance version from the 2016 SMTOWN concert as a tribute to SHINee’s Jonghyun. Fair warning, it’s an emotional video.
